Dell Australia are running a competition for companies across the country to show how they have applied IT innovation in their business practices. The Small Business Excellence Award is open to all registered companies with less than 100 staff, with 10 companies being chosen to attend the National Final on Monday June 11th.

Businesses must show they have used significant technology to change their customer service, whilst also having customer testimonials into how the new technology improved their experience. All applications must be received by 31st May, and entries can be applied for here.

All finalists will receive a Dell Laptop worth $1500, with the winners receiving $25,000 in Dell products and services and 12 days of Microsoft training from EXCOM Education. The winner of the Australian final will then be entered into the Global Small Business competition; with the winner receiving another $25,000.The competition will also be a great networking event for forward thinking business people to discuss their future with other likeminded individuals.
