Lenovo Australia have unveiled their first ever dual screen notebook, the ThinkPad W700d.

The mobile workstation features a conventional 17inch LCD screen with a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, but also has a fantastic 10.6in screen that slides out from the right and can be angled by approximately 30 degrees. The resolution of the flip out screen is a beautiful 1,280 x 768, which is a higher resolution than the main displays of some notebooks.

The Thinkpad W700d will be available with Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad processors and up to 4GB of RAM, plus Intel Turbo Memory support. The fixed hard drive features a 64GB solid-state disk, plus integrated colour calibration.
