Having originally bought a 4GB iPod mini back in 2005, I recently run out of space as my iTunes music collection has expanded faster than my waist line! As I plan to start going back to the gym I decided to invest in a new iPod to make those long hours on the treadmill pass a bit quicker. When I originally bought the iPod mini it was mainly for it’s size and weight (for putting in my pocket whilst I pounded the streets) whilst providing a reasonable storage capacity of 5GB. The iPod mini has now been replaced by the iPod Nano which maxes out at 8GB for $349,00 but for the same price you can get a full 30GB iPod which although slightly larger you can store more music and videos (which you can display on a screen which is almost twice as big as that on the Nano).
